Music Video - DANCING WITH THE CZARS

Given full creative freedom in the video, I wanted to use the music as a backdrop to tell an abstract story relevant to the emotions the sounds evoked. The video revolves around 3 distinct stages/realms for the character.

Upon first listening to the track, I was immediately drawn to the ideas of Ritual, which evolved over time into particularly looking at the idea of ritual as a harbinger of the transformative. Whether it was ushering in self-transformation (transformation into adulthood, death, etc.) or the changing of external elements (seasons, weather, etc.), these major milestones in life are always accompanied by rituals which span across cultures and continents.

The music video reflects this idea of ritual and transformation. It hops between timelines, representing states of being and consciousness. Each state beginning as one ends, the music video is a never ending cycle of transformation, centered around ritualistic behavior. The video begins and ends with the same scene, reflecting our nature for eternal progression and evolution, our constant transformation.
